Job Description

As a Seed Site Logistics Technician, you will be responsible for leading the daily activities of the fuzzy cotton seed warehouse. Work closely with the Site Manager to utilize company assets by sharing personnel and peak workload shifts between warehouses due to the progression of seasonal activities. Assist in training warehouse contractual personnel in procedures to accomplish segregation of varieties in bulk storage. Repair any damaged buildings and equipment in a prompt manner. Make sure all trucks are loaded in a timely manner, ensuring the accuracy of each load. Assist in carrying out routine maintenance of warehouses. Fill out variety clean inspection reports sheets for loaders.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and heavy equipment

  • Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and conduct equipment repairs

  • Willing and able to adjust and be flexible for potential schedule/shift changes

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory control

  • CDL A truck driving license a plus
