
Senior Instructional Designer Store Operations - Strategic Selling
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Instructional Designer for our Store Operations team at Bath & Body Works. This individual will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic selling training programs for our retail stores. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the learning and development strategies that drive our business forward. - Develop and implement strategic selling training programs for retail store employees, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and driving sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design training solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create engaging and effective training materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, and other resources.
- Incorporate industry best practices and innovative approaches into training content to ensure continuous improvement and relevance.
- Manage the design and development process from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training materials.
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and provide ongoing support and guidance to trainers and subject matter experts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and metrics, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in instructional design, retail, and adult learning to continuously enhance training programs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for instructional design principles, techniques, and tools within the organization.
- Coach and mentor junior instructional designers to support their professional development and growth.
- Act as a brand ambassador by promoting a positive and collaborative culture within the Store Operations team and across the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Instructional Design, Education, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Instructional Design And Curriculum Development, With A Focus On Retail Or Store Operations.
Strong Understanding Of Strategic Selling Techniques And Experience Developing Training Materials For Sales Teams.
Proficiency In Using Instructional Design Software And Tools, Such As Adobe Captivate Or Articulate Storyline.
Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Meet Tight Deadlines.
