  1. Manage and maintain all equipment and instrumentation used in our research and development processes.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive equipment management plan to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  3. Oversee equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and procure new equipment and technologies that align with research and development goals.
  5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure equipment is in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  6. Train and supervise a team of technicians responsible for equipment operation and maintenance.
  7. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with vendors for timely repairs and replacements.
  8. Monitor equipment usage and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for equipment upgrades and replacements.
  11. Ensure all equipment and instrumentation are properly documented and maintained according to company guidelines.
  12. Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and assist with budget planning for equipment purchases.
  13. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  14. Communicate with departmental leaders and stakeholders to provide updates on equipment status and any potential issues.
  15. Foster a culture of safety and quality by promoting and enforcing proper equipment handling and maintenance procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Science, Or Related Field With A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Managing R&D Equipment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Instrumentation, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance.

  • Experience In Budget Management And Procurement Processes For R&D Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Equipment Technicians And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Understanding Of Regulatory Compliance And Safety Standards For R&D Equipment In A Laboratory Setting.
