  1. Utilize expertise in drafting and mechanical engineering to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, schematics, and models for our projects.
  2. Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions.
  3. Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulations.
  4. Utilize software and tools, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to create 2D and 3D models.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis to support design decisions.
  6. Review and revise designs based on feedback from project managers and clients.
  7. Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and software to improve efficiency and accuracy in drafting.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

  11. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Cad Software: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software, Such As Autocad Or Solidworks, And Be Able To Create Detailed Technical Drawings And Models.

  • Knowledge Of Mechanical Engineering Principles: A Mechanical Drafter At Bechtel Group Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Mechanical Engineering Principles, Including Knowledge Of Materials, Design Techniques, And Manufacturing Processes.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Essential For This Role, As Mechanical Drafters Must Accurately Interpret And Translate Complex Technical Specifications Into Detailed Drawings.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: As Part Of A Larger Engineering Team, Mechanical Drafters At Bechtel Group Must Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Engineers, Designers, And Other Team Members.

  • Experience In Industrial Or Construction Projects: Previous Experience Working On Industrial Or Construction Projects Is Highly Valued At Bechtel Group. Candidates With Experience In These Industries Will Be Better Equipped To Understand The Technical Requirements And Produce Accurate Drawings.
