- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan for the Medication Delivery Solutions division in alignment with Becton Dickinson's overall goals and objectives
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions
- Lead and manage a team of business development professionals to achieve growth targets and drive business development excellence
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the division, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive new initiatives and product development
- Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to inform business strategies and decision-making
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and industry experts
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the division's business development activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all business development efforts
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives
- Continuously drive improvement and optimization of processes and practices to enhance business development effectiveness and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field; Mba Preferred.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Business Development, Sales, Or Marketing Roles Within The Healthcare Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Executing Strategic Business Development Initiatives.
Strong Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical And Medical Device Market, Including Knowledge Of Current Trends And Competitors.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders And Drive Collaboration Across Departments.
