
Analyst - Pricing & Promotions
Work with internal teams on establishing pricing plans & strategies. Provide recaps and feedback on promotional events – ensure we are leveraging promotions effectively and efficiently in order to drive sales objectives and profit targets. Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal stakeholders, communicate objectives and provide feedback as needed. Perform analysis at department, class or item level to determine effectiveness of current pricing strategies and model impact of changes. Investigate and respond to store/field issues as it relates to pricing and promotions. Coordinate and communicate strategies with field organization. Create and distribute reporting on pricing actions, portion of items competitive vs non-competitive within market, and work with team to create solutions to challenges. Provide merchant team tools on pricing and average selling price within organization as compared to market (NPD) and identify opportunities.
