Job Description

As a Receiving Operator, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and products. We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.   1. Receive incoming materials and products with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Inspect materials and products for quality and report any issues to superiors.
  3. Properly store and organize all received materials and products.
  4. Keep track of inventory levels and communicate any shortages or surpluses.
  5. Ensure all safety protocols are followed while handling and storing materials.
  6. Work with suppliers and delivery drivers to coordinate the timely receipt of materials.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  8. Use computer systems to record and track incoming shipments and inventory levels.
  9. Participate in inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  10. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all receiving tasks.
  11. Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing BEHR Paint.
  13. Continuously strive to improve processes and increase efficiency in the receiving department.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures related to receiving operations.
  15. Uphold the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction in all receiving tasks.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Warehouse Operations: A Receiving Operator At Behr Paint Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Warehouse Operations, Including Inventory Management, Order Processing, And Shipping And Receiving Procedures.

  • Forklift Certification: Since A Receiving Operator Will Be Responsible For Unloading And Loading Materials, It Is Essential For Them To Have A Valid Forklift Certification. This Ensures They Can Safely Operate A Forklift And Handle Materials Efficiently.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Attention To Detail Is Crucial For A Receiving Operator, As They Will Be Responsible For Checking The Accuracy Of Incoming And Outgoing Shipments And Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records.

  • Physical Stamina: The Job Of A Receiving Operator At Behr Paint Can Be Physically Demanding, Involving Heavy Lifting, Standing, And Walking For Extended Periods. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess The Physical Stamina To Perform These Tasks.
