Merchandise Assistant

As a Merchandise Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our merchandising team by assisting with inventory management, product placement, and overall store presentation. 1. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ensuring accurate stock counts.
2. Help with product placement by following merchandising guidelines and maintaining visually appealing displays.
3. Support the overall store presentation by ensuring shelves, racks, and displays are clean and well-stocked.
4. Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and execute floor sets and product launches.
5. Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and product knowledge to assist customers with their purchases.
6. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
7. Assist in receiving and processing new merchandise, including tagging, folding, and hanging items.
8. Conduct regular store walks to identify any areas that need attention and take necessary steps to address them.
9. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the stockroom and backroom areas.
10. Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
11. Follow safety and security procedures to protect store assets and merchandise.
12. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to merchandising and customer service.
13. Identify and report any issues or problems with products, displays, or inventory to the appropriate department.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
15. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the merchandising team or store management.
