SOC Analyst
Better is looking to hire a SOC Analyst to join our security team. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our current security infrastructure. Perform technical analysis on a wide range of cybersecurity issues, with a focus on network activity and data loss prevention. Document key event details and analytic findings in analysis reports and incident management systems. Utilize open-source threat & vulnerability information with data collected from sensors across the enterprise into cohesive and comprehensive analysis. Produce and update technical analysis documentation on a regular basis. Triage security tooling alerts, collect related data from various network analysis systems, review available open and closed source information on related threats & vulnerabilities, diagnose observed activity for likelihood of system infection, compromise or unintended/high-risk exposure.
2 years minimum experience in the information security field
2 years experience with security detection tools SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS etc.
Create or improve upon processes, procedures, and policies
Experience working in Financial industry a plus
