- Conduct market research to identify potential government agencies and decision makers within those agencies
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through various channels such as email, phone calls, and networking events
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within target agencies
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team to present BetterUp's solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective strategies for penetrating the federal market
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and opportunities in the company's CRM system
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and government policies and regulations that may impact sales
- Represent BetterUp at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads
- Contribute to the development of sales materials and presentations tailored to the federal market
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Continuously seek out and suggest ways to improve sales processes and strategies
- Uphold the company's values and mission while representing BetterUp to potential clients.
Knowledge Of Federal Sales Processes And Regulations: A Bdr For Federal Sales At Betterup Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Complex Sales Processes And Regulations In The Federal Market, Including Compliance And Security Requirements.
Experience In Government Contracting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Government Contracting, With A Track Record Of Success In Securing And Managing Federal Contracts.
