We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate Buyer for our Accessories department. As an Associate Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and selecting the latest and trendiest accessories for our stores.   1. Source and select high-quality and affordable accessories for our stores.
  2. Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and incorporate them into product selection.
  3. Conduct market research and analyze sales data to make informed buying decisions.
  4. Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and terms for products.
  5. Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure product assortment aligns with company goals.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to meet demand and sales goals.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and attend trade shows and buying events.
  8. Create and manage purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate product availability.
  9. Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for accessories.
  10. Identify and communicate any potential issues or concerns with product quality or availability.
  11. Assist in creating and maintaining department budgets.
  12. Keep track of industry trends and competitor offerings.
  13. Train and mentor new buying team members.
  14. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth buying process.
  15. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Buying And Merchandising, Preferably In The Retail Industry

  • Strong Analytical And Mathematical Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Sales Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Merchandising Software Systems, With A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management And Forecasting.
