We’re looking for a highly motivated and organized Lead Support Associate to join our team at Big Lots! As the Lead Support Associate, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the store’s operations. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to help drive the success of our store, we’d love to hear from you! To be considered for this role, you’ll need a minimum of two years’ experience working in a retail environment. You’ll also need to have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily functioning of store operations.
  2. Ensure successful store performance.
  3. Manage and motivate a team.
  4. Promote a positive working environment and culture.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
  6. Monitor store activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and stock shelves as needed.
  8. Train and develop staff to ensure that they are up to date on company policies and procedures.
  9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  10. Monitor store security and safety.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  12. Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
  13. Ensure store compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  14. Prepare reports and analyze metrics to measure store performance.
  15. Track store expenses and budget.
  16. Maintain good communication with store managers and corporate headquarters.
  17. Provide feedback and suggestions on ways to improve operations.
