Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner upon their arrival to the store.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs and inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized store by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
Help customers locate products throughout the store and provide information about sales and promotions.
Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of current products, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic by being punctual, reliable, and responsible for assigned tasks.
Adhere to safety and security protocols to maintain a safe shopping environment for both customers and employees.
Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction targets.
Communicate any customer feedback or issues to management for prompt resolution.
Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company updates and new products.
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

Attention To Detail: As A Stocker, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Products Are Stocked Accurately And Shelves Are Organized And Visually Appealing. Retail Store Associates Should Also Pay Attention To Detail When Assisting Customers With Finding Products Or Processing Transactions.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Big Lots Is A High-Volume Retail Store, And It Is Essential That Retail Store Associates And Stockers Can Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Should Be Able To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Work Quickly While Maintaining Accuracy.
