Audio Engineer

At Biola University, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Audio Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key member of our staff, ensuring the highest quality audio experience for our students, faculty and staff across the University.The Audio Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, installation and operation of audio systems used for live events, recordings, and broadcasts. This role requires an exceptional eye for detail, the technical ability to troubleshoot, and the ability to work with a diverse range of people with varying levels of technical understanding.We are looking for an individual with a degree in audio engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in audio engineering, audio/video system setup and maintenance, and a working knowledge of audio production techniques. The successful applicant must also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.We are searching for an Audio Engineer who is passionate about audio engineering, has the technical expertise to help us maintain the highest level of audio quality, and the interpersonal skills to work well with our students, faculty, staff, and clientele.
