Communication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Communication Specialist to join our growing team at Biola University. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing effective communication strategies and campaigns to support our university’s mission. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing creative and engaging content, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to think strategically about how to best connect with our target audiences.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent written and verbal communication, strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of public relations principles. A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field is preferred. Experience in social media, website management and content creation, along with experience in a higher education setting, would also be beneficial. Above all, we seek a team player who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to make a positive impact on our university and its mission.
