Job Description

Processing student and staff payrolls, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information for each employee's earnings record. Data entry of hours, new employee information, updated tax and insurance deduction codes, and other information relative to payroll processing into the computer system. Review necessary paperwork to process and produce accurate and timely weekly payrolls; assists in the distribution process. Upload weekly Payroll ACH file. Prepares manual checks as needed. Answer payroll related questions by phone and/or email asked by employees within the scope of clerical expertise. Assists in research of payroll records as needed. Scanning and imaging documents to electronic filing system. Coordinate and work closely with necessary Human Resources staff- student and staff employment and benefits staff. Maintain a lifestyle in consonance with sound Christian principles and those promulgated by the institution.
