  10. Meet required qualifications: The COTA must meet all required qualifications, including holding a valid certification, to perform the duties of the job effectively.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) From The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cota In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Principles And Techniques, As Well As Familiarity With Current Treatment Modalities And Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
