Community Outreach Specialist

They will be creative, resourceful, and enthusiastic about working with diverse groups to ensure BJC HealthCare’s mission of providing quality healthcare is realized. The Community Outreach Specialist at BJC HealthCare is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating outreach programs that will build connections between healthcare providers and the larger community. They will develop relationships with local organizations and community leaders to ensure that our organization is delivering on our promise of providing excellent healthcare services. In addition, they will identify and coordinate opportunities for BJC HealthCare to participate in community events and initiatives. The successful candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as well as 3 to 5 years of experience in community outreach and/or public relations. They will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
