We’re looking for a passionate and driven Community Outreach Specialist to join our team at BJC HealthCare! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community outreach strategies to support our mission of providing quality healthcare to all individuals. This position requires an individual with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, build relationships, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences. If you have a commitment to improving health outcomes for underserved communities, we would love to hear from you!To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, or a related field. You should also have at least 3 years of experience in a community outreach role, with an understanding of health disparities and public health issues. Additionally, you should be a creative problem-solver with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies to promote BJC HealthCare’s mission and services

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, including community members, government officials, health care providers, and other organizations

• Effectively communicate with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing • Identify and address health disparities in underserved communities • Monitor and evaluate the impact of outreach activities • Develop creative solutions to improve health outcomes in underserved communities • Develop and manage a budget for outreach activities • Stay up-to-date on public health trends and best practices
