- Analyze and evaluate current EHR systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Implement and maintain EHR applications, ensuring they are configured accurately and in compliance with industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with EHR systems, working closely with IT and other departments as needed.
- Train and provide ongoing support for end users on EHR applications, ensuring they are utilizing the system effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of EHR systems with other healthcare technologies and processes.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices related to EHR systems, and make recommendations for updates and improvements as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for EHR systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible to end users.
- Participate in the testing and implementation of new EHR functionalities and upgrades.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on EHR systems, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines, to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data.
- Continuously strive to improve the user experience and overall functionality of EHR systems, identifying and implementing process efficiencies wherever possible.
- Collaborate with vendors and other external partners to resolve any issues or implement new features and enhancements.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the organization, promoting our values and commitment to quality patient care.
- Keep up-to-date with changes and updates to EHR systems, attending training and conferences as needed to stay current in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Information Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Workflows And Processes.
Technical Proficiency In Ehr Applications Such As Epic, Cerner, Or Allscripts.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
