- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the patient access department, including scheduling, training, and performance management of staff.
- Ensure that all patients are greeted and assisted in a friendly and timely manner, maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Oversee the registration and admission processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective patient flow throughout the facility.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance and billing processes, and assist patients with any questions or concerns.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance the patient experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, addressing any concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations, and ensure that all staff members are trained and compliant.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among team members.
- Serve as a role model for exceptional patient care, leading by example and setting high standards for staff performance.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role In A Healthcare Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Patient Access Processes, Including Registration, Insurance Verification, And Financial Counseling.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Coach Team Members.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Performance Metrics And Goals, Such As Patient Satisfaction, Accuracy, And Productivity.
