  1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  3. Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  4. Monitor and assess the ongoing health and development of pediatric patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on health and wellness, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  7. Comply with all legal and ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current medical research and advancements in pediatric healthcare.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  11. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and protocols for pediatric care.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to the well-being and safety of pediatric patients.
  13. Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  14. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and educational programs.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through self-evaluation and professional development.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree From An Accredited Physician Assistant Program

  • Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Medicine, Preferably In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting

  • Active State License To Practice As A Physician Assistant In The State Of Missouri

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
