Retail Pharmacist

At BJC HealthCare, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Pharmacist to join our team. The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication and other health care products to customers while delivering exceptional patient care.We are looking for a candidate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and a current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Missouri. In addition, the ideal candidate should have excellent communication and customer service skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently.We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care to our patients. Responsibilities:

1. Dispense medication and other health care products to customers in accordance with state and federal regulations.
2. Ensure accuracy of medication orders and patient information.
3. Answer customer questions and provide information regarding medications, dosages, side effects, and other health care products.
4. Maintain records of patient prescriptions, drug interactions, and other relevant information.
5. Follow up with patients regarding their medication orders and refill requests.
6. Participate in pharmacy meetings and training sessions.
7. Develop and implement strategies for improving customer service and patient care.
8. Monitor and maintain inventory of medications and other health care products.
9. Stay up-to-date on changes in medication regulations and industry standards.
10. Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
