Retail Pharmacist

BJC HealthCare is looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Retail Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the expertise and experience necessary to provide exceptional patient care and deliver accurate, timely dispensing services in accordance with all applicable regulations.The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for providing comprehensive medication management services, including verifying the accuracy of prescribed medications, interacting with physicians to ensure efficient drug utilization, and counseling patients on proper drug use and side effects. Additionally, the Retail Pharmacist will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, maintain accurate records, and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and interns.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent and a valid state license to practice pharmacy. Additionally, they should have excellent interpersonal skills and up-to-date knowledge of medication management best practices.
