
Rheumatologist
At BJC HealthCare, we are looking for a compassionate and experienced Rheumatologist to join our team and provide comprehensive care to our patients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellent patient care and be passionate about helping patients with their rheumatological needs.The successful candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, board certification in Rheumatology, and a valid medical license in the state of Missouri, as well as excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills. The Rheumatologist must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, knowledge of current principles of diagnosis and treatment and experience in providing care to a diverse patient population is preferred. At BJC HealthCare, we are dedicated to providing our patients with quality and compassionate care. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with rheumatological diseases and conditions
- Manage patient care plans and provide comprehensive care services
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Keep up to date with current treatment and diagnostic techniques
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families
- Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed
- Participate in research and clinical trials as needed
- Adhere to all relevant ethical and legal regulations
- Maintain knowledge of advances in the field of rheumatology
