At BJC HealthCare, we are looking for a compassionate and experienced Rheumatologist to join our team and provide comprehensive care to our patients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellent patient care and be passionate about helping patients with their rheumatological needs.The successful candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, board certification in Rheumatology, and a valid medical license in the state of Missouri, as well as excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills. The Rheumatologist must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, knowledge of current principles of diagnosis and treatment and experience in providing care to a diverse patient population is preferred. Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and treat patients with rheumatological diseases and conditions
2. Manage patient care plans and provide comprehensive care services
3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
4. Keep up to date with current treatment and diagnostic techniques
5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
6. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families
7. Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed
8. Participate in research and clinical trials as needed
9. Adhere to all relevant ethical and legal regulations
10. Maintain knowledge of advances in the field of rheumatology
