Staff Accountant - Accounting Operations

This position will be a key player in Blackbaud’s consolidated financial close activities. The position will provide the candidate with exposure across various accounting cycles, including but not limited to ownership of non-domestic cash and cash equivalent accounting operations. Key participant in the Consolidated Financial Close Process across the organization, as well as developing solutions for close-related issues as they arise. Assist with interpretation, understanding, documentation, and adherence to Accounting Policies and Procedures. Critically analyze financial information including in the Company’s external financial statements (10-Q, 10-K, proxy, registration statement) for accuracy and reasonableness. Ensure accuracy of Consolidated Financial Statements, including analytical reviews of financial information. Perform monthly variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Assist in determining the impact of new accounting pronouncements on reporting requirements and business practices.
