- Develop and maintain relationships with external content providers to ensure access to the most comprehensive and up-to-date information for Bloomberg clients.
- Identify and pursue new sources of content to enhance Bloomberg's offerings.
- Negotiate and secure content agreements with external providers.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor offerings to inform content acquisition strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new content into Bloomberg's products and services.
- Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of content to clients.
- Manage and maintain content licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Continuously evaluate and improve content acquisition processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with external content providers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on content strategy and priorities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in content licensing laws and regulations.
- Represent Bloomberg at industry events and conferences to promote our content acquisition capabilities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Bloomberg's products and services to effectively position our content offerings to clients.
- Provide regular updates and reports on content acquisition activities and progress to senior management.
- Mentor and train junior team members on content acquisition best practices and processes.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to promote content offerings to clients.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Content Acquisition Or Partnership Management
Strong Understanding Of The Media And Financial Industry, With A Focus On Content Licensing And Distribution
