  7. Proactively identify and report any potential issues or discrepancies in the transmission process.
  8. Work closely with producers and editors to ensure timely delivery of content according to scheduled programming.
  9. Manage and organize transmission logs and records for future reference and analysis.
  10. Continuously strive to improve and streamline transmission processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: A Master Control Room/Transmissions Operator At Bloomberg Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Broadcast Technology And Equipment, Including Video Servers, Routers, Switchers, And Audio Mixers. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Software, Such As Adobe Premiere And Avid.

  • Experience With Live Broadcasting: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience Operating Equipment In A Live Broadcasting Environment. They Should Be Able To Handle High-Pressure Situations And Troubleshoot Technical Issues Quickly And Efficiently.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Master Control Room/Transmissions Operator, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail. This Includes Monitoring And Maintaining Audio And Video Levels, Ensuring The Correct Timing Of Commercials And Programming, And Detecting And Correcting Any Errors Or Discrepancies.

  • Communication Skills: Good Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Master Control Room/Transmissions Operator Will Work Closely With Producers, Directors, And Other Team Members. They Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Effectively, Both Verbally And In Writing.
