Pharmacist, Principal

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated pharmacist to join our team as Principal at Blue Shield of California. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping people and have a strong attention to detail. They should have a deep understanding of pharmacy practices, regulations and standards that are relevant to the healthcare industry.To be successful in this role, the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a pharmacist, a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree, and a valid California Pharmacist License. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 5. Monitoring inventory and ordering new supplies as needed.
6. Providing excellent customer service to members, providers, and staff.
7. Educating patients on proper use of medications.
8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
9. Assisting in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
10. Staying up-to-date with current trends and regulations in the pharmacy field.
