Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Follow state and federal regulations regarding the dispensing of medications
2. Create and maintain accurate records of the prescription orders
3. Receive and process doctor’s orders for medications
4. Assist customers with ordering medications and answering questions
5. Ensure accuracy of prescription orders and provide appropriate counseling
6. Prepare and package medications for delivery to customers
7. Assist in the maintenance and organization of inventory and supplies
8. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and staff
9. Communicate effectively with other staff members and departments
10. Participate in continuing education and training courses as required
