Are you an experienced Claims Auditor looking to join a dynamic team at Blue Cross BlueShield of South Carolina? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a Claims Auditor to join our team and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our claims. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in auditing and/or healthcare compliance and be passionate about providing quality customer service.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Claims Auditor or in a related field. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, health administration, or related field is preferred but not required. You must also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential. As a Claims Auditor, you must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable working with complex data.If you possess the qualifications and skills necessary to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Audit and review claims to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and provide quality customer service.
  5. Analyze complex data and develop reports to support findings.
  6. Communicate audit results to management and other stakeholders.
  7. Identify areas of potential improvement and provide recommendations.
  8. Develop and implement audit procedures as needed.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
