Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. The ideal candidate must be customer-centric and have a passion for delivering exceptional service. The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for customers, so an upbeat and positive attitude is essential. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Additionally, the successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers, responding to inquiries in a timely manner and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Maintain customer relationships by handling inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Accurately document customer interactions and update customer records in the system.
  4. Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  5. Remain up-to-date on product and service offerings, policies, and other related information.
  6. Adhere to company guidelines and policies when dealing with customers.
  7. Maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring accuracy.
  8. Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and complaints.
  9. Monitor customer service metrics and suggest improvements.
  10. Assist with other customer service related tasks as needed.
