
Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, you will be an integral part of our team. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated individual with a passion for helping others. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle difficult customer service situations. Required qualifications include: a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in customer service, preferably in a call center; strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software; and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Listen to customer questions and complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
- Learn and use BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's customer service software.
- Accurately document customer interactions.
- Monitor customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Follow up with customers regarding inquiries and complaints.
- Provide customers with accurate product and service information.
- Stay up-to-date on health care coverage policies and procedures.
- Monitor customer satisfaction with customer service performance.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers.
