Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, you will be an integral part of our team. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated individual with a passion for helping others. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle difficult customer service situations. Required qualifications include: a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in customer service, preferably in a call center; strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software; and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Listen to customer questions and complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
  3. Learn and use BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's customer service software.
  4. Accurately document customer interactions.
  5. Monitor customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Follow up with customers regarding inquiries and complaints.
  7. Provide customers with accurate product and service information.
  8. Stay up-to-date on health care coverage policies and procedures.
  9. Monitor customer satisfaction with customer service performance.
  10. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers.
