Job Description

At BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, we are currently looking for a Medicare Sales Representative to join our team. Our ideal candidate should have the knowledge and experience necessary to help our customers navigate the Medicare landscape and provide exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of the Medicare market and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of customers. Moreover, you must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. If you have the qualifications and enthusiasm for this role, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent.• At least one year of sales experience in the Medicare market.• Ability to analyze customer needs and develop solutions.• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Knowledge of Medicare regulations and policies.• Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to customers navigating the Medicare landscape.
  2. Analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  3. Maintain and update knowledge of Medicare regulations and policies.
  4. Make sales presentations to potential customers.
  5. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  7. Research and identify new sales opportunities.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Medicare market.
  9. Manage customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Monitor industry trends and changes to ensure compliance with regulations.
