Provider Relations Representative

We’re looking for an experienced Provider Relations Representative to join the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina team. This individual will be a key player in fostering strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare providers and members to ensure the highest quality healthcare experience. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain relationships with providers and members to ensure quality healthcare experience
2. Respond to provider inquiries in a timely manner
3. Educate providers and members on healthcare and managed care principles, procedures, and processes
4. Identify potential provider engagement opportunities
5. Maintain accurate records and reports of all provider interactions
6. Monitor and analyze provider performance metrics, and provide feedback and support as needed
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
8. Analyze and resolve provider complaints
9. Create and implement strategies to improve provider relations
10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of provider relations initiatives
