The Maintenance Machinist is required to perform machining and replacement operations for all machines, machine tools, hand tools and auxiliary equipment throughout the complex. Diagnose trouble on pneumatic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical controlled mechanisms/machines. Changing over and set-up of production machines. Knowledge of physical properties of metals to perform machining operations and heat treating techniques. Electric, gas welding, brazing, cutting, silver soldering of metals. Record keeping of machine history; parts inventory of areas assigned.
