1. Develop and implement comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) programs and policies in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing EH&S programs and make recommendations for improvements.
3. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
4. Train employees on EH&S policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
6. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of EH&S activities, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory compliance records.
8. Stay current with all EH&S regulations and industry standards and proactively communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders.
9. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize potential hazards.
10. Implement and oversee a comprehensive waste management program to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
11. Serve as the main point of contact for all EH&S related inquiries and concerns from employees.
12. Collaborate with management to set EH&S goals and objectives and track progress towards achieving them.
13. Identify and recommend appropriate safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
14. Conduct EH&S training sessions and workshops for employees and management to promote a strong safety culture.
15. Continuously assess and improve EH&S processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance.
