- Serve as a resource and point of contact for patients and their families, offering ongoing support and guidance
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient education activities and outcomes for reporting purposes
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees to provide input and support on patient education initiatives
- Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of patient education.
Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Nursing, Education, Or Public Health.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Patient Education, Preferably In A Medical Device Or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Ability To Translate Complex Medical Information Into Layman's Terms.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Engage Patients From Diverse Backgrounds.
Knowledge Of Current Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards, Including Hipaa And Fda Guidelines.
