- Develop and implement training programs that align with Boston Scientific's sales strategy and objectives.
- Create and deliver engaging and effective training content to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.
- Use a variety of training methods, such as webinars, in-person workshops, and e-learning, to reach and engage a geographically dispersed sales team.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to identify training needs and tailor programs to address specific challenges or opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of training effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in sales training and incorporate them into program design.
- Utilize technology and innovative approaches to enhance the delivery and impact of training programs.
- Manage and maintain training materials, including updating content as products and sales strategies evolve.
- Coach and mentor sales team members to reinforce training concepts and improve performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure training materials and programs are accurate and up to date.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and incorporate into training initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Boston Scientific products, sales processes, and industry trends.
- Represent Boston Scientific and the sales training function at internal and external events.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the sales training program to meet the changing needs of the organization and sales team.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to set goals and track progress towards sales training objectives.
Extensive Sales And Training Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Sales And Training, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Sales Training And Development.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Principal Sales Training Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Sales Trainers. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Others.
