
Finance Analyst
Conducts economic evaluation and manages investment appraisal processes for G&LCE businesses. Developing and managing financial models in accordance with bp’s Economic Evaluation Methodology. Performing due diligence of model inputs and challenging assumptions where appropriate Preparing Investment Governance documentations (Information Notes, Authority to Negotiate, and Financial Memorandums). Running financial scenarios and providing key insights into value drivers and options. Assisting with other ad hoc requests including strategy development and commercial optimization. Supporting integration of successful transactions into the bp G&LCE portfolio. Collaborating with other business entities, seeking opportunities for integration, continuous improvement, and building upon external partner, supplier and consultant relationships. Responsible for reporting business unit financial metrics and providing assurance to adherence to the definitions of those metrics.
CFA or equivalent designation are a plus
4+ years of relevant experience is required
Experience of Renewables and/or Power projects
Ability to challenge assumptions and model inputs
Understanding of debt and equity structures, including off-balance sheet financing and joint venture arrangements, and hedging instruments
