  1. Monitor and control the flow of oil and gas through BP's pipelines to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  2. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety for employees, the public, and the environment.
  3. Continuously monitor pipeline performance and report any abnormalities or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues affecting pipeline operations.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of pipeline activities and communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pipeline equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential hazards.
  7. Implement emergency response procedures in the event of a pipeline incident or shutdown.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and promote continuous improvement in pipeline operations.
  9. Train and mentor new pipeline controllers to ensure a strong and knowledgeable team.
  10. Communicate clearly and effectively with other team members and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient pipeline operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Engineering, Science, Or Mathematics.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pipeline Operations Or A Related Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Pipeline Control Systems, Scada, And Other Related Technologies.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues In A Timely Manner.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Environment, With A Strong Focus On Safety And Attention To Detail.
