  2. Utilize industry-standard layout tools to create high-quality and precise layouts.
  3. Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure layout meets design specifications.
  4. Understand and adhere to layout design rules and guidelines.
  5. Continuously improve and optimize layout techniques to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in analog and mixed-signal layout design.
  7. Work closely with engineers to resolve any layout-related issues or challenges.
  8. Conduct thorough layout reviews to ensure layout meets design requirements.
  9. Communicate progress and any potential roadblocks to the layout team lead.
  10. Maintain proper documentation and organization of layout design files.
  11. Adhere to project timelines and deliver layouts within designated deadlines.
  12. Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and collaborate on solutions.
  13. Train and mentor junior layout designers as needed.
  14. Adhere to company and industry safety standards during all layout design activities.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Analog Mixed Signal (Ams) Layout Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background And Experience In Using Layout Tools Such As Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Calibre, And Synopsys Custom Compiler, For Designing Various Analog And Mixed-Signal Circuits.

  • Knowledge Of Layout Techniques For High-Speed And High-Frequency Circuits: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Layout Techniques For High-Speed And High-Frequency Circuits, Including Differential Pairs, Transmission Lines, And Parasitic Effects.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Design Rules: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Design Rules For Ams Layout, Including Drc, Erc, And Lvs Checks, To Ensure The Design Meets The Required Specifications And Can Be Manufactured With High Yield.

  • Experience With Various Ams Design Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have Experience With Various Ams Design Methodologies, Such As Top-Down, Bottom-Up, And Hierarchical Layouts, To Efficiently And Effectively Complete The Layout Of Complex Circuits.

  • Strong Understanding Of Device Physics And Semiconductor Processes: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Device Physics And Semiconductor Processes, Which Will Enable Them To Make Informed Decisions During The Layout Process And Optimize The Design For Performance And Yield.
