Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Mainframe Storage Technologies: A Senior Mainframe Storage Consultant At Broadcom Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Mainframe Storage Systems, Including Z/Os, Dfsms, And Virtual Tape Libraries. This Includes Hands-On Experience With Installation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of These Systems.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Storage Management Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Storage Management Tools Such As Ibm Tivoli Storage Manager (Tsm), Ca-1, And Ca-Disk. They Should Also Have Experience With Backup And Disaster Recovery Strategies For Mainframe Environments.

  • Familiarity With Broadcom Products: As A Senior Mainframe Storage Consultant, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Provide Technical Expertise On Broadcom's Mainframe Storage Products, Including Mainframe Virtual Tape, Data Domain, And Storage Management Console. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Products And How They Integrate With Mainframe Systems.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Mainframe Storage Consultant Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Identifying And Resolving Complex Storage-Related Issues In Mainframe Environments. This Requires A Combination Of Technical Knowledge, Analytical Thinking, And Attention To Detail.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members, Customers, And Stakeholders. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Solutions And Recommendations To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
