- Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the store, employees, and customers.
- Supervise and train a team of asset protection associates to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
- Monitor and review security footage to identify any potential risks or threats.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to report on security issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technology to continuously improve asset protection measures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and security agencies.
- Handle any escalated security concerns or emergency situations in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Create and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to asset protection activities.
- Monitor and manage inventory shrinkage and develop strategies to reduce losses.
- Conduct regular training and education sessions for store employees on security and loss prevention measures.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to asset protection.
- Act as a role model and leader for the asset protection team, promoting a positive and safe work environment.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Including Cctv Monitoring, Alarm Systems, And Emergency Response Plans.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Develop A Team Of Security Officers.
Understanding Of Retail Operations And Inventory Management, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Potential Theft Or Fraud.
Familiarity With Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Asset Protection, Including The Ability To Conduct Internal And External Investigations And Handle Legal Matters Related To Theft Or Fraud.
