Job Description

Burlington Stores is looking for an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented Cashier Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency while providing a friendly and welcoming service. To be successful in this position, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enjoy interacting with customers, and have a passion for delivering high-caliber customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing a friendly and welcoming service.
  2. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  3. Answer customer questions and provide accurate information.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing helpful advice and solutions.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
  6. Monitor cash drawer and ensure accuracy of all transactions.
  7. Balance cash drawer and generate end-of-day reports.
  8. Assist with stocking shelves, setting up displays, and cleaning store areas.
  9. Follow safety and security regulations and procedures.
  10. Adhere to all company procedures and policies.
