- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse systems and processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse systems experts to ensure successful implementation and execution of optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT, and operations, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse systems and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in warehouse systems and technology to ensure Burlington Stores remains competitive.
- Manage the budget and resources for warehouse systems optimization projects.
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on new systems and processes.
- Communicate progress and results of optimization efforts to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks or issues that may arise during implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines in warehouse operations.
- Continuously review and improve warehouse layout and organization to optimize space utilization.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the warehouse operations team.
- Represent Burlington Stores as a subject matter expert in warehouse systems optimization at industry events and conferences.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Warehouse Operations Or Supply Chain Management.
Proven Track Record Of Implementing Process Improvements And Optimizing Warehouse Systems.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Warehouse Management Systems And Supply Chain Technologies.
