
Retail Stocking Associate - Part-Time

- Stocking shelves with merchandise: The Retail Stocking Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all shelves and displays are fully stocked with merchandise at all times.
- Organizing merchandise: This individual will be responsible for organizing merchandise in a visually appealing and customer-friendly manner to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries: The Retail Stocking Associate will be responsible for receiving and unpacking merchandise deliveries, and ensuring that all items are properly accounted for and placed in the correct location.
- Maintaining inventory levels: The individual in this role will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and communicating with management when items need to be restocked or ordered.
- Rotating and restocking merchandise: The Retail Stocking Associate will be responsible for rotating merchandise and restocking items to ensure that the newest and most desirable products are easily accessible to customers.
- Maintaining store cleanliness: This individual will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including keeping shelves and displays free of dust and debris.
- Assisting customers: The Retail Stocking Associate may be required to assist customers with locating merchandise or answering questions about products.
- Following company policies and procedures: The individual in this role will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, while performing their duties.
- Collaborating with team members: The Retail Stocking Associate will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Providing exceptional customer service: This individual will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience at Burlington Stores.
Previous Experience In Retail Or Stocking: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Job Requirements And Make For A Smoother Transition Into The Position.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills: As A Part-Time Retail Stocking Associate, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Inventory And Restocking Shelves While Working Within A Specific Timeframe. Strong Organizational Skills And The Ability To Manage Time Effectively Will Be Crucial For Success In This Role.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Position Will Require The Candidate To Stand For Long Periods Of Time And Lift And Move Heavy Boxes And Merchandise. It Is Important For The Candidate To Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: A Successful Retail Stocking Associate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That The Shelves Are Properly Stocked And Organized. This Includes Checking For Accuracy In Pricing, Product Placement, And Identifying Any Damaged Or Expired Items.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: While The Primary Responsibility Of A Retail Stocking Associate Is To Manage Inventory, They Will Also Interact With Customers On The Sales Floor. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Assist Customers With Any Questions Or Concerns They May Have.
