  1. Manage and oversee inventory and stocking processes to ensure accurate and efficient merchandise placement.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of associates to achieve success and meet performance goals.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for customer demand.
  4. Train and develop team members on proper stocking procedures and company policies.
  5. Conduct regular audits to identify and address any inventory discrepancies.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and stocking processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor.
  10. Monitor and report on team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  11. Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to stocking and inventory.
  12. Plan and coordinate team schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Industry And The Ability To Manage Inventory Effectively.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Team Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Stockers And Ensuring That Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And Accurately. Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members, Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Organizational Skills: Retail Stocking Requires A High Level Of Organization In Order To Keep Track Of Inventory, Restocking Schedules, And Product Placement. A Qualified Team Lead Should Possess Excellent Organizational Skills To Ensure That These Tasks Are Completed Effectively.

  • Physical Stamina: Stocking Shelves And Moving Inventory Can Be Physically Demanding, So A Team Lead Should Be In Good Physical Shape And Able To Lift And Move Heavy Objects As Needed.

  • Attention To Detail: In A Retail Environment, Even Small Errors In Inventory Management Can Have A Big Impact. A Qualified Team Lead Should Have A Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Inventory Is Accurately Accounted For And Properly Stocked On Shelves.
