We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Store Closing Lead - Part-Time. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the store is ready for the next day's business by overseeing the closing procedures and managing a team of associates. The ideal candidate will have prior retail experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.   1. Oversee and manage the closing procedures of the retail store to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  2. Lead a team of associates and delegate tasks to ensure all closing responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
  3. Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and organized for the next day's business.
  4. Verify that all cash registers and POS systems are closed and balanced according to company policies.
  5. Coordinate with other departments to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the closing process.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking and tidying of merchandise and displays.
  7. Train new associates on closing procedures and provide ongoing support and guidance to the team.
  8. Communicate effectively with the store management team to provide updates on closing procedures and any issues that may arise.
  9. Uphold company standards for customer service by providing a friendly and welcoming environment for all customers.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the store management team to contribute to the overall success of the store.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Qualified Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of Store Operations And Customer Service Skills.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Retail Store Closing Lead Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Store Staff, So Excellent Communication Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Clearly And Effectively Convey Information, As Well As Listen And Respond To Concerns.

  • Ability To Work Independently: As The Closing Lead, This Position Will Require The Ability To Work Independently And Make Decisions Without Direct Supervision. A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Being Self-Motivated, Organized, And Able To Manage Their Time Effectively.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Retail Stores May Have Changing Needs And Priorities, So The Closing Lead Must Be Able To Adapt To These Changes. This Includes Being Willing To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, As Needed.

  • Leadership Skills: The Retail Store Closing Lead Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Managing The Closing Process, As Well As Supervising And Training Other Team Members. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Motivate Others, Are Essential For This Role.
