Warehouse Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced warehouse professional to join our team as a Warehouse Team Lead at Burlington Stores! The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and leadership skills. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and have the ability to manage and motivate multiple teams. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and is a problem solver.The Warehouse Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, leading a team of associates and ensuring all safety and compliance standards are met. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, experience with logistics and transportation, and knowledge of warehouse management systems. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including storage, order fulfillment, inventory control, and transportation
2. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates
3. Maintain safety and compliance standards in the warehouse
4. Monitor the team’s performance and provide feedback and guidance
5. Ensure that all orders are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner
6. Manage the warehouse inventory and ensure accuracy in stock levels
7. Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs and performance
8. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and customers
9. Analyze data and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
10. Monitor warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance is performed
