
Warehouse Team Lead
We are looking for an experienced warehouse professional to join our team as a Warehouse Team Lead at Burlington Stores! The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and leadership skills. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and have the ability to manage and motivate multiple teams. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and is a problem solver.The Warehouse Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, leading a team of associates and ensuring all safety and compliance standards are met. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, experience with logistics and transportation, and knowledge of warehouse management systems. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including storage, order fulfillment, inventory control, and transportation
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates
- Maintain safety and compliance standards in the warehouse
- Monitor the team’s performance and provide feedback and guidance
- Ensure that all orders are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner
- Manage the warehouse inventory and ensure accuracy in stock levels
- Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs and performance
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Analyze data and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
- Monitor warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance is performed
